NEW White Keepsake Hanky Bonnet with Shamrock Embroidery and Cluny Lace Trim
Baby Bonnets: Keepsake Bonnets: Irish Bonnets: Hanky Bonnets
This beautiful white cotton blend bonnet is made from a handkerchief edged with white cluny lace. A white shamrock is embroidered on one side. The bonnet ties under the chin with white satin ribbons and also has a white satin ribbon tie in the back to ensure a good fit. The tradition is for a baby to wear this as a coming home cap or a christening cap. Saved as an heirloom, a few stitches are clipped so it reverts to a beautiful keepsake hanky to be carried by a bride on her wedding day. A poem explaining this lovely tradition is included, along with a gift envelope for presentation.
The perfect christening bonnet or take home bonnet for your baby.
