We know how important it is to select just the right outfit and we offer you many choices from darling diaper sets and daygowns to frilly first dresses and sweet little rompers along with all the bonnets, booties, and blankets you'd want to accessorize your little angel's first trip. How do you envision your baby on this important day? If the baby's sex will be a surprise, you may want to select a new or heirloom gender neutral daygown or diaper shirt or set, white or pastel with a little embroidery or lace (yes, it is perfectly OK to put lace on infant boys!) If you know in advance that you're expecting a pink or blue bundle of joy, you may prefer to purchase her first little dress or his first little romper with bonnet or hat and booties to match. You should also consider sizing. If your baby is likely to weigh 8 pounds or less, you may want to consider purchasing one or two preemie size outfits. While they won't fit for long, you will have something that actually does fit for those all important first pictures. Newborn sizes generally fit babies up to about 12 pounds (although every manufacturer is different) but very few newborns actually weigh that much!
