It features a fine example of Madeira's world famous appliqued embroidery. A tree with an owl and a squirrel on its branches is appliqued in the center of the chest. A clever little window in the tree opens to reveal another squirrel. The Peter Pan collar and short sleeves are edged with white piping. Buttoned tabs adorn the back waist of the romper, which closes in the back with four little white buttons. It buttons in the crotch with three buttons for quick diaper changes.
