Heirloom 1940s Delicate White Batiste Dress with Matching Slip and Bib

Vintage Baby Clothes: Vintage Baby Dresses
This darling little white cotton batiste dress, slip, and matching bib were handmade in the Philippines in the 1940s. Never worn, the set was removed from its original packaging and carefully laundered so that it arrives pristine and ready to for a very special baby to wear. It is beautifully detailed with tiny pintucks and delicate embroidery. The little Peter Pan collar is embroidered and edged with soft white baby lace. The short puffed sleeves are finished with turned back scalloped edged cuffs. The dress features a 2? hem and a back neck closure with one tiny button. The matching white slip has embroidered scallops at the neckline, hem, and armholes as well as embroidered flowers above the hem. It closes on one shoulder with a small button and could be worn alone as a sweet summer sundress! And to top it all off, a sweet little ?dribble bib? with embroidered flowers and scalloped edges is included.
