It features rows of whitework embroidery and embroidered ruffles on the bodice. The neckline is edged with ruffled cotton lace and the mid-length sleeves have ruffled lace trim. Typical of the period, the gown closes in the back with a tie at the neck. An embroidered tab at the center skirt front has long ties to tie the yoke closed in the back. The long cotton skirt has a simple hem. A sweet Victorian christening gown, baptism gown, or dedication gown for your baby boy or girl!
