This gorgeous blue cotton romper was made in the Philippines in the 1940s by Feltman Brothers. It features many tiny pintucks on the chest centered by white openwork embroidery and four mother of pearl buttons. The collar is extensively embroidered in white with inset openwork, beautiful designs, and scalloped edges. Scalloped embroidery also accents the short sleeves cuffs and the front and back belt loops. A white ribbon belt accented by a decorative mother of pearl button croses in the front. The romper closes in the back and in the crotch with three small buttons, typical of 1940s style.
