Heirloom 1950s Unworn Madeira Pink Embroidered Organdy Party Dress
Heirloom Baby Clothes: Heirloom Baby Dresses
This exceptionally lovely pink organdy dress was hand made in Madeira, Portugal, in the 1950s. A rare example of an unworn Madeira dress, it was removed from its original packaging and washed and pressed so that it arrives fresh and ready for for your little girl to wear. It features delicate embroidered flowers on the bodice, with scalloped trim at the neckline and soft lace on the short puffed sleeves. The dress closes in the back with small shell buttons. The very full skirt is beautifully embroidered with small flowers and is finished with a scalloped hem. It has an attached petticoat for added fullness.
An example of Madeira's finest craftsmanship, this would be a stunning heirloom portrait dress, birthday dress, or special occasion dress for your toddler girl!
