This lovely heirloom white bib has a top layer of batiste beautifully hand embroidered with elegant flowers and openwork. It is edged with soft white baby lace and is backed with a double cotton layer. Made in the 1940s, these "dribble bibs" were meant to protect baby's finer clothing. This bib closes with a tiny shell button and loop.
What a special gift for a christening or other important occasion!
