Heirloom 1940s Unworn Yellow Batiste Pintucked Dress with Embroidery and Scalloped Hem
Heirloom Baby Clothes: Heirloom Baby Dresses
This lovely yellow cotton dress was hand made in the Philippines in the 1940s. A rare example of an unworn 1940s embroidered dress, it was removed from its original packaging and washed and pressed so that it arrives fresh and ready for baby to wear. It features delicate embroidery, pintucks, and openwork on the bodice, with a scalloped neckline and turned back cuffs on the short puffed sleeves. The dress closes in the back with small shell buttons and is finished with a scalloped hem topped with delicate white embroidery and openwork.
This would be a stunning heirloom portrait dress, wedding attire, or special occasion dress for your baby girl!
