Vintage Baby Clothes: Vintage Baby Rompers
This beautiful little white romper was hand made in the Philippines in the 1930s. When you love the look of heirloom clothing, but don't want the fuss of a christening gown, this makes an excellent choice. The suit features pintucks and openwork embroidery on the chest, centered by a small square blue applique. The exquisite blue collar has sets of the tiniest pintucks with white embroidery and a white scalloped embroidered edge. The blue turned back cuffs on the short sleeves are also edged in white scalloped embroidery. The suit closes in the back and the crotch with three small buttons. It is finished with a white belt that buttons in the front with two small buttons. What a lovely little romper for an heirloom portrait, wedding, or christening!!
