This lovely white cotton batiste gown was hand made in the Philippines in the 1930s. It features tiny pintucking on the front with delicate white embroidery and openwork. The embroidered collar is finished with scalloped embroidery and the short straight sleeves have scalloped edged turned back cuffs. The gown closes in the back with two small buttons and is finished with a scalloped embroidered hem.
