Heirloom Unworn 1930s Pale Blue Batiste Dress with Delicate Embroidery
Heirloom Baby Clothes: Heirloom Baby Dresses: Heirloom Christening Dresses
This sweet pale blue cotton batiste dress was hand made in the Philippines in the 1930s. A rare example of an unworn 1930s embroidered dress, it was removed from its original packaging and washed and pressed so that it arrives fresh and ready for baby to wear. It features lovely white embroidery in a heart pattern down the length of the dress, with embroidered butterflies on the collar. This dress has straight sleeves with banded cuffs and closes in the back with small shell buttons. With its simpler cut and style, it was likely meant for a baby boy.
This would be a lovely heirloom portrait gown, christening, baptism, or dedication dress for your baby boy or baby girl!
