This darling white cotton batiste gown is from the 1920s. Purchased from the Portobella Market in London, It features a delicate pink embroidered lace band down the front with lace trim at the sleeves, neckline, and hem. Pink ribbons tie the sleeves and bottom. Typical of turn of the century gowns, there is no back closure. Baby gowns were generally closed with baby jewelry, such as the sweet little gold pin shown below (not included but vintage baby jewelry is available from Grammie's Attic).
