Heirloom 1920s Blue Baby Romper with Appliqued Pigs
Heirloom Baby Clothes: Vintage Baby Rompers
This darling little white cotton romper was handmade in the 1930s. Suitable for a baby boy or a baby girl, it features pintucks on the chest centered by salmon embroidery. The white Peter Pan collar is edged with a double row of salmon piping with fagoting, which is repeated on the turned back sleeve cuffs. Button the matching belt in front for your baby boy or turn it around or tie with a ribbon for your baby girl. This little suit closes in the back and the crotch with small buttons, as was customary in 1930s baby clothing.
