This lovely white cotton batiste gown was hand made in the Philippines in the 1920s. It features pintucking on the front and back with delicate white embroidery and openwork. The neckline is finished with scalloped embroidery and the long straight sleeves have scalloped edged turned back cuffs. The gown closes in the back with three small buttons and is finished with a scalloped embroidered hem topped by delicate white embroidery and openwork.
